last weeks in A.A. - carneval!

what a carneval for a small place - all parking places full - we have never seen more than half a dozen cars there before... all noise and good atmosphere, bit noisy, but with markedly more entertaining music than in Kk... going back for more music and food this afternoon, tomorrow "Clean Monday" national holiday, free meat-free street-food, kite-flowing, weird flat bread with herbs - up in Logga, though the weather forecast looks awful - 13C with 100% chance of rain... we'll see - often reality defied science... the flowers were collected on my morning walk from the road-side the other day, still going strong.and of course, some Koroni sights.

wow, so little time left here...

We just realised - we have less than 3 weeks left, and we haven't done so many of the walks and ... and... we wouldn't mind staying another month really - alas, we were not fast enough being aware of this desire, and now the villa is booked from 2nd of March, so we plan to leave on the 27th February to give enough time to Rosemary to get the place in order. We had a fast January indeed, filled with the best weather for Vic and Maggie, who stayed for a week, rather than just a weekend like last time, and Pete had a week straight after. We put on weight from all those social eatings - so we are starting a bit of a more healthy regime even before going back home. First day today... WE did not discover new places, just taken our guests to our favorite places - well, we did discover some new lanes locally. Were invited to Yata's for an evening meal, and was surprised what a tiny apartment was hiding in the usual large-looking townhouse's first floor... but -hm- nothing to report -
