back, Kiskassa, summer, Jocelyn and Lois

I think I've lost a post - I'm sure I did one since we came back from Toronto. A full month without blog - couldn't have happened, surely. For being fairly busy, there aren't a lot of photos either. So I went to Bp to meet Jocelyn and Lois who were after a very action-packed art (music, art, literature) tour of middle-Europe; Germany, Netherlands, Brussels. I met them at the airport and after a lunch in Keleti's Baross "resti" they started their Kiskassa adventure, that was meant - and hopefully still is, a bit less hectic. But it included the usual trips to Pecs, Siklos, Villany, and a lot of corresponding eatings. I hope Jocelyn had a nice time, and interesting and very nice person. We look forward to next week's "Ördögkatlan" festival, which happens in the nearby villages with very impressive classical music and other more unusual cultural experiences. We hope to spend a couple of hours in each village, each day from Tuesday till Sunday picking the one most likely to have stuff we are interested in. On about 12th Aug we are off to Bp, Lois and me off to our Scandinavian tour, that looks every bit as energetic than the one I mentioned above. If you puzzled, the photos with a surprised Lois and Jocelyn are made while they were standing in Jenő's giant "singing bawl". Meanwhile, ofcourse we are worried about the increasingly grotesque world of ours, watching the news about killings/Trump and the Sanders/Corbyn saga of corrupt rightwingers undermining democracy everywhere... In Kiskassa all seems as was before, the street furniture made by the work-fare people multiplying, the weather hot and stormy. Did some cherry and apricot bottling; lots of raspberries and figs, some beggies even being recovered by Alan from under the jungled weeds that greeted us...
