re-settled in Hungary from Rochdale, Lancs, England, and into a little village, doing a bit of greenish farming hoping for a quiet life... but stuff just happens...

pre-trip stuff

yes, we are off to Budapest on Monday, and to old foggy Albion on Thursday.
I present Dodi's pictures, he's the ex-drummer of Kispál és a Borz, as I mentioned it before, he's got a very olde worlde peasant house in the next village, and is very enthusiastic about cooking authentic Hungarian outside couldron meals for guests who are interested in such local curiosities. He is a very good cook, we sampled his hospitality a good few times, the food superb, the atmosphere leasurely and merry... jamming is included for the surprise number of musicians among the guests...

The fascist meeting went satisfactorily as such - only the sad candidate turned up on his own, and was "run out" of town; the eight people who turned up were from our council and not of a nazi-sympathising nature; he could not answer questions, claimed not to speak for the party and was gone very soon indeed. Appearantly, Erika, our post-lady councillor gave him a good piece of her mind - pity we didn't know about this "action", if it was indeed a planned one.

Dodi's pictures show a wintery Kiskassa, 2 from his house, one of the Pécsdevecser church, and Alan with one of his geese.
so, unless I blog from Milnrow, tara for a couple of weeks.
