back from Far Away Places (from Kiskassa)

So we are back from cold Manchester, gloomy London and
balmy Tenerife, to – wintery Kiskassa… we had a lovely time,
the train journey from Budapest to Pecs was a pain, as there was work done on the line, but I don’t go into the tedious details of it – my own bloody fault not looking up the train schedules on the internet… anyway, we arrived eventually, the house was lovely warm, and Jozsi and Margit gave us lovely tea (that means hot food). Animals are all well – very well indeed, as Jozsi gave them multiples of the food that was necessary, so we will need extra hay as half of the winter store gone in these 3 weeks – but still, everything was looked after well. And Jozsi made some fabulous goat cheese! The picture doesn’t do it justice, it’s wonderful, made with white pepper and tarragon, quite spicy and salty, but lovely on toast… I have to learn this stuff.
I couldn’t make pictures of the most dramatically beautiful bits of Tenerife such as the Telescopes as the camera memory card seized to cooperate just then, must have had altitude sickness… but I pick a few pictures anyway, plus a wintery front yard
and the goat cheese for balance… maybe London V&A or Manchester John Ryland library building… Alan’s new hat picked up in Santa Cruz wonderful market should also surface… in more bits, as blogger doesn't like more than 3 pics at a time.
