sudden descend into winter the last 2 days of the journey in fully white landscapes... but we had a pleasant meal at Rosemary's the day before departure, a gorgeous fish picalia the day before that... We miss A.A.already... never mind. people were nice in Kiskassa, nothing bad happened... and we had some sunshine yesterday making most snow to melt - next Thursday big communal do with meal for combined international women's day and revolution day. Tomorrow our 45th anniversary - blimey. Had nice adventures on the way, being the only guests (again) in a giant establishment in non-Greek Macedonia, see picture of mega-pencake. Found other good spots to stay. We got 40liter of the best cold pressed olive oil home in one piece. And of course Jenny and Kostas were just the perfect hosts in Thessaloníki - two wonderful days of walks and museums and meals. Learned a new way to do spinach... Went on a pirate ship...
