... with a few unusually very cold and wet days, which still did not manage to get rid off Alan's red eyes allergy altogether, which is worrying. But now he is taking Pali-suggested olive-tree leave capsules, so problem is over... ha and ha.
We had a hostel guest family last week, little Lewis was just lovely, and he enjoyed himself, though was a bit wary of as ever over-enthusiastic Gus.
New and work-minded wwoofers arrived on Saturday, Sarah and Ethan, young new Yorkers, who study in Chicago and taking part there in some urban gardening scheme. They've done tons of stuff inspite of the weather and can now milk the goats unaided. Lovely people, as per usual. Maybe the youngest workers we had here, they are only 20.

Had a merry late afternoon in the Blöff yesterday, managed to meet up again with the interestingly entertaining author-pair David and Beth (=Erzsébet), and I was given his, David Rozgonyi's book: "Goat Trees". I only glimpsed in it briefly, it seem to have beautifully poetic language. It is a most agreeably sized book, too, I can keep it in my handbag and can be my travelling book.
The arty pictures were made by Heather, who was a guest about a months ago with her boyfriend, who helped Alan hay making, and seemed to enjoy this experience immensely.
