Aghios Andreas!! Kalimera!

We made it here, to cheat winter! So we relocated successfully to villa on the beach!!. Tibi and Erzsi are looking after stuff in Kiskassa, only poultry left, sheep have lovely new home in Pecsdevecser with Dodi, who moved back there from Pecs. This our first proper day with the expected beautiful weather - it was over 30C on the sun and 23C in the shade it was rainy and windy and dark for the first two day, wasn't very promising. Still, it was good enough for decent walks. First sunny womble today to Neo-koroni, about 2km on the main road further on. Very managable, nice shop with local veggies and one of the cafes tried, frappe. Everyone so friendly and nice. Yesterday we walked up the hill to Logga. Had a good rest in one of the tavernas there, spending quality time with our first and very impressive greek salad. Our hosts, Vassilis and Rosemarie are fantastic, we had a large portion (2 days worth) of the tastiest moussaka, large italian fruitcake, beer and wine waiting for us, and stores of kitchen basics, such as tea, coffee and a bottle of good olive oil. We have no wifi, so we probably look at emails and have chance to skype once a day, usually, probably in the evenings, unless we have latte and croissants in the bakery, very good, I'm afraid. So, basically, we are very, very happy and comfortable. Rosemarie also supplied us with a dozen serious looking books mostly on philosophy and economics, she says she's not into fiction. There are also tons of classic DVDs, much more she says, if we want more. Lots of greek tv channels with undubbed, English speaking films, for those longer winter evenings, hopefully far away in the future. The fotos are a jumble of our villa, the beach there, our walks to neo-Koroni and Logga, still to come some from our local harbour etc.
