Enjoy Easter

yes, managed to give 90 eggs again to be painted this year. I had a look at Nora's kemence-kitchen where it all happened, very prettily done. The hiding and searching (of painted eggs) will happen at Nora's garden and in the play-ground, the geese ate our grass too short, it would be a tad too easy to find eggs there, even for the little ones. I will take over the usual cherry cakes and raspberry drinks. The cultivator was fixed with two afternoons of teamwork with Sumango, and the garden is ploughed, ready to plant stuff, hopefully not too much. We tried the new small főzelék and palacsinta place in Pécs, and enjoyed it, 6 different good looking of the veg-stew things, large variety if savoury and sweet pancakes, all done as healthily as can be and in a good-to-look at fashion, in a friendly place, marci would love it. No (proper) chestnut purée or mulled wine to be get, never mind. Jutka was here last weekend, she brought nice sunny sit-out weather, which deserted us lately. I think the fotos were mostly of Pécs, or Kiskassa.

spring??

so we've been back for 10 days and it feels like we've been here all winter... The place was lovely tidy and warm inside, it was nice to be back after such hectic times - and re-acquaint with the fantastic still new bed. We did have a few sunny days but still feels like winter, mostly dark, not feeling warm outside, even though the temperature is hovering around 10C. Very few flowers - hardly any trees had started at it. Alan had his now annual control at the heart centre in Pécs, and passed with flying colours again. Prof Komocsi was slightly puzzled by the little icon fridge-magnet memento, even though it showed him (alas with a long, white windswept beard) fighting the bad heart-monsters with a sharp looking sward. We had celebrated the good results, international women's day and 43rd wedding anniversary in the Arizona place, with very nice food and free champaign (and a half for the lady). Murphy's is closed down!! Next to the dead McDonald's - I wonder what grand plans are afoot with that lovely corner of the walking street. Otherwise lovely as ever. Siklós hasn't shown a lot of change, the little market etc still there, though we avoided the cake shop, having (fairly) strict plans about getting back to shape. TV, Internet, landline and Hippo are all operational after initial hiccups. The cultivator is not, Alan still has plans for some planting, Erzsi and me couldn't convince him about the fact, that just grass and fruit-trees would give him enough work. Never mind. Bonzo is well, though not as robust as when we left and more excitable. Eric though become a proper fat cat, and totally friendly with designs of becoming an inside cat, but with Alan not letting him getting the cut (some sort of silly male solidarity?) there is no chance of that. The village hasn't changed, there are more of the social-employed made benches outside of houses, the street has been fixed with holes filled. The photos were made with my new camera galaxy J5, that cost nothing extra due to some crafty deals with Telenor; Alan doing the "terhelés" test (what is that in English?) in the heart centre, and some sign of spring in the front yard, including promising buds on the new lilac tree. And, of course, Eric. We are totally downcast about the refugee situation, it is somehow foreboding of even nastier things to come, with Europe and the World being as apathetic and inhuman as they managed to be pre-WW2 times. And we are just rolling about in our luxuries... Rosemarie and Vasilis now go to Athens with help collected from friends and reports on the situation there. Nice to know, that at least the Greeks - and some international helpers - show some solidarity.
